What is PLR Articles?

Some get confused when they see the initials ‘PLR’.  A couple definitions appear.  Search results will yield one definition as “Public Lending Right” as the right for authors to receive payment under PLR legislation in the UK for the loans of their books by public libraries and yet another definition as “Private Label Rights”.

This article is an introduction to PLR as Private Label Rights.

You may not have considered this before, but if you have ever purchased any kind of digital product on the web – software or an e-book, for example, then that product came with some kind of ‘rights’ attached to it when you did so. In other words, when you bought the product, you also bought the right to use it in some way.
The most common rights you would get are called ‘personal user’ rights with your purchase which means you can use it yourself, but you cannot sell it to someone else.
However, there are many products that you will buy online where you are given additional rights with your purchase.

Some products are packaged with Resell Rights, or RR, meaning that you can use the product yourself and/or resell it to others to have user rights. Then there are Products with Master Resell Rights (MRR) which give you the license not only to sell the product yourself, but also to pass on that right to sell the product to your customer too.

Finally you have products that come with Private Label Rights or PLR. This is content (most commonly articles, e-books, reports, or software) that can be used as is, or changed and modified entirely as the purchaser desires, in compliance with the product’s PLR license. So what in the world is ‘PLR articles’?  You guessed it.Articles that you are allowed to edit and use as you want and “label” them with your “private” authorship.

There are also some sub-categories under this PLR content ‘category’ that are defined by the exact ‘levels’ of private label rights that are permitted by the products’ license. For example, there are some PLR products that allow the purchaser to resell the product but they cannot claim authorship of it when they do so. Still others allow the user to modify it as they please, but are not allowed to sell the PLR rights to anyone. To obtain the right to resell the PLR with PLR rights, you would need to purchase the unrestricted PLR Resell RIghts.

However, the vast majority of PLR products that you are likely to come across or buy come with unrestricted private label rights, meaning that you can essentially do whatever you want with them as the user, (but not necessarily have the right to resell the PLR.This is the kind of PLR product referred to in this article.

What can you do with Private Label Rights content?

With unrestricted PLR rights to a particular e-book, special report or article, you can:

  • Change the title of or headline above the product;
  • Modify the content by adding to it, changing it or cutting pieces out wherever and however you want;
  • Claim authorship or creation credits;
  • Use the finished product you create in any way you like – give it away, sell it from a sales page or a membership site etc;
  • Use it as website content materials, or in a newsletter;
  • Add your own affiliate links into the finished product;Claim Copyright to it.

From this it is clear that when you have unrestricted private label rights to your purchased product, you receive a whole range of various opportunities and possibilities.
Indeed, it would even be possible to just take the product that you have bought, add your name to it and then publish it ‘as is’ without doing any more to it than that.
This is never likely to be a smart move, however, as (unless you are the first person who has ever used this PLR content) somebody else has probably already done this before you.

Subscribers to the “PLR Buzz” newsletter will get new PLR site alerts as well as tips on making money with private label content.

So, the key to using PLR effectively is to change it enough to make it your own. Do that and utilizing PLR materials can be your key to huge online profits, and perhaps even more attractively, these will be profits that you should start to see very quickly!

I’ve been using private label right products in my own online business for awhile now. I do this because using PLR is one of the quickest ways of going from a empty piece of paper (or blank PC monitor) to profits for any online entrepreneur.
This book will show you exactly how to do this within 7 days or even less!

More Quality PLR = Less Wasted Time and Money

The first thing to say about private label right materials is that they are not all alike.
There is some superb PLR content out there in the marketplace, but there is also an awful lot of dross!

You might find that some online commentators or PLR experts suggest that the quality of the original PLR content is not relevant since you will have to significantly modify the materals anyhow.

I don’t agree with this for a couple fundamental reasons:

Firstly, the PLR materials that you use are the ‘foundations’ upon which you build your final content materials. If you start off with poor quality foundations, then it’s very unlikely that your finished products will be of a high quality either.

Secondly, I’ve found that many lower quality private label materials are often factually wrong, or seriously out of date. On quite a few occasions, I have seen such low quality materials quote ‘facts’ that were never anything of the sort, or statistics that are years out of date!

Therefore, the result would be that any product you made from such PLR materials would be flawed, and that will not help your business or reputation.

In particular, be aware that free PLR materials are generally being given away free for a reason. In all probability, the reason is that it is impossible to sell them because of their intrinsic lack of quality and the fact that they therefore have little or no value.

Of course this is a generalization, and it IS sometimes possible to obtain free PLR content that is worth having. In fact there is one very good free PLR source that I’ll mention later that definitely deserves consideration, but it’s probably the exception rather than the rule!

Generally, private label rights material is no different from most other things in life - you get what you pay for. The quality of your ‘foundation’ PLR materials does matter, of that you should be in no doubt. To quote an old phrase, ‘you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear’, so if you try to do so, you will waste much of your time and effort. And you only have 7 days to start making money, so time is not something that you have got a lot of just at this moment.

The difference between good quality and bad PLR content?

Well, in my experience, using good quality materials basically means that you need to do some rewriting and that is about it.

With low quality materials, on the other hand, you have to check each ‘fact’ for accuracy, or update old stats, or you need to practically rewrite the content from the very first word. And if you are using PLR on authority sites to satisfy search engines, you need to optimze them to utilize good keywords.

So, if the base PLR content that you are working with is poor, then you might as well have started from scratch and written the whole thing yourself!Yes, you just may have to work that much!  Much “free” plr is like this (not all), so if your time is important to you, it’s worth investing in only quality PLR.

I’ve bought thousands of dollars of PLR content over the years, and I’ve reviewed private label article memberships on my site. What articles are good for you depends on how you plan to use them.In my PLR reviews, I give much weight on not just the quality, but also on whether the original PLR authors did keyword research and used that to optimize them for search engines (SEO).  This saves me lots of time and gets my sites to rank higher in search engines faster when I post optimized PLR articles onto my site, or post articles for article marketing.

Why Video Presentations Are Effective

Web Video Production

Marketing on websites over the last few years has become more powerful and effective than on television. Use of  web videos makes the audience stay on the website for longer than they usually would. video communicates visually to browsers increasing attention. In 2008 the Internet went past television in terms of advertising. Marketers where seeing that more people were using the Internet for information, and they wanted to get their products on these popular websites. Websites are mostly using a web presenter to keep the audience interested so that they would not click straight off the website. The online presenter may only last about a minute but it is a minute longer than they usually would and ore time for browsers to notice products.

The Internet has grown rapidly over the years because you can get instant information about any topic. Sites like Wikipedia allow browsers to look up anything and pages come through about the topic. Advertisers target these kinds of websites because they n users will spend a greater amount of time on the website. Ads are being placed over videos now in text form. Also the adverts would relate to the topic the users are reading about, for example if I searched football adverts to do with football like tickets and equipment could be shown. web marketing is a way of marketing where businesses send E-mails to you regarding their product hoping it might interest you.

Also trafficking is common on the Web where you click one website, and it takes you to another site. Things like this get annoying on the Internet but this is what it is becoming, just a massive way for revenues to get their products out there to the people.

Face Book has become one of the most popular social networking websites out there, and is making a lot of money from advertisers. The marketers know the majority of people that use Face Book are teenagers and young adults so they know the kind of stuff to advertise on there. Also on people’s home page they advertise products that relate to people interest and personality.

It is the same with the online video sharing website You Tube. When people are watching videos on You Tube adverts are on the side of the screen so advertisers now that people spend a bit of time on videos so there is more time for their products to get noticed. Also again the advert would relate to the video the person is watching.

The internet has become the main source for advertising and it is predicted to stay that way in the future.

Face to Face Still Best for Using Your Communication Skills

Summary: Videoconferences, webinars, you name it; All sorts of new channels or media have emerged recently. Still, sitting down, face to face, may still be the best bet when the outcome matters.

At times, it’s tempting to turn to one of the new technologies for important communication tasks.

But, there’s still nothing as effective as face-to-face communication when there’s a lot at stake. In these cases, choosing the right medium for the message can be the most critical communication skill . As a rule of thumb, we might say that the more critical the message, the more reason for face-to-face talk.

That’s because face-to-face offers many benefits that aren’t otherwise available to us, benefits such as being able to see body language, listen to voice tones, and observe eye movements. And that’s just the receiving side.

Flip the coin to the sending side, and your messaging can convey emotion, put you in physical proximity, and give immediate feedback.

Let’s now take a quick look at these benefits individually: When we can see the body language of others, we get a glimpse into what the other person really thinks or feels; his or her body language may give us a more accurate reading than the words that come back to us.

Voice tones work much like body language; hearing the words, as well as reading them, opens many doors to understanding the other person, and that, in turn, increases the odds of making the point we want to make.

We know, too, that eye movements contribute to understanding, as we watch for factors such as direct eye contact, duration of the contact, and so on. Is the message you’re getting from the eyes consistent with the words you’re hearing?

An emotional layer leads to bonding, whether to a lesser or greater degree. Even something as simple as drinking coffee together creates an emotional link that can help the flow of communication.

Close physical proximity, such as being in the same room, allows us to see, and perhaps control or compensate for, the environment. For example, if we meet in a room with lots of glass, the other person may be distracted by people walking by.

And, when we’re face-to-face, we can get immediate feedback by watching the body language, listening to voice tones, and tracking eye movements. As we get that feedback, we can immediately and continually adjust the tone or content of our message to match the situation. Over time, we also have an opportunity of improving communication skills .

All of these factors taken together tell us that the efficiency of new communication technologies may not make up for the loss of effectiveness we suffer by using them.

Of course, given the higher costs of face-to-face communication, it may not always be feasible. But, if the message is important, then it’s worth considering.

Want to Start a Publishing Revolution?

Calling all publishers, editors, journalists and freelance writers. Now’s the time to breathe more life into your copy. Turn your articles into living pieces that spark measurable debate and that allows you to engage with your readers mind and soul - we’re talking revolution.

As it was in the beginning

Publishers have for many years relied on letters to get feedback from their readers and although email has opened up this method of communication it is still time consuming and difficult to process with only a fraction of the received correspondence ever being used.

As well as being an overhead for the publisher, to most people it is an unrewarding medium in terms of the amount of effort required and response received, just consider the number of letters that go unpublished and unread.

As it is now

New channels of communication have been created by the Internet and this in turn has created opportunities that allow us to challenge traditional methods. The Internet has matured, no longer the preserve of computer geeks but an everyday technology that has been embraced globally, by the young and old, allowing the traditional way things were done to be re-evaluated. Newspapers, trade journals, magazines and ezines now have the opportunity to change the mental process.

When people read an article that provokes thought they appreciate the opportunity to comment either by writing a letter, sending an email or writing a comment. Emails make communication easier but they still take time to compose and time for the majority, is what they haven’t got.

Although of interest a letters page is at best a snapshot of views or if comments have been allowed an unmanaged and often never ending list of comments; they may be well crafted and well written but due to the free text form, collectively they are views that are notoriously difficult to measure.

As it should be

Now consider the advantages of linking articles to online surveys where as a publisher you will have the ability to obtain valuable feedback from your readers and in a form that can be easily measured. Just as important as you communicating with your readers is providing your readers with a channel to communicate with you; a method where they know it will count.

Want an instant snapshot of opinion? Did they like the article? Did the readership agree with what was said or do they have a different view?

Now it is easy

Historically surveys would have taken considerable effort to design and publish and altogether was a process too long winded and often reserved only for the niche and bigger topics.

However, using a hosted survey site surveys and questionnaires can be created and published via the Internet by anyone who has a pulse. Professional looking surveys and questionnaires created in minutes that make the perfect complement to articles that prompt opinion and debate.

The advantage over letters, e-mails and comments are that all the feedback is properly managed and measured and sites like Survey Galaxy will provide you with a real time poll that you can either keep to yourself or share with your readers.

It can be complementary

Link each article to an online survey and not only extend the life of the article as people have a channel to express their views, but involve your readers in the discussion where they now know their opinion will be counted.

You think people will still want to send an email? - not a problem - just include the facility within the survey and get the best of both worlds.

It’s fast, low cost, and easy to do; it will engage and empower the reader, provide excellent feedback and having established a dialogue you then have the opportunity to link to other related articles.

Back links simplified

backlinks

Before putting any effort whatsoever into creating any web pages you should have considered how you intend to get people to visit and ‘consume’ your content. Be it selling a product or service or conveying an opinion or information you want to get attention and this means getting traffic. You should devote your energies to getting the search engines to direct as many visitors as possible to your web pages. The most economical and focused traffic is delivered by the search engines.

Search engines make their living from delivering relevant and useful results to their users. The number one goal of every search engine is to attract users and increase loyalty and this can only be done by delivering what the searchers are looking for in a relevant and timely fashion. More users returning, means more popularity and more sales. The objectives for you and your web pages is precisely the same as the search engines.Make your users experience your number one priority so they return to your web pages time and time again.

So how do you go about doing this?. There are two key ways you can do this. You can write useful and relevant content or you can use the advertising methods offered by search engines and other properties.

Without a keyword or a key phrase search engines will simply ignore content. Search engines perform searches based upon the keyword or key phrase entered by the user. The search engine goes and looks in its vast index of web pages and selects the most relevant web pages and then returns them in a list that is ordered in terms of relevance and authority. Search engines use relevance and authority to decide what pages get returned and presented to the searcher.

Authority is a function of the back links to a web page and relevance is largely down to on page factors such as the number of times a keyword appears on the web page. Search engines calculate the position of a web page in a returned list of results by measuring the authority and number of backlinks to each page.

Back links are the number one priority you should focus on in web page optimisation.

Back links play two important roles they direct traffic to your web site and factor in the search engines deciding the position of your web pages in the index of results. Users finding web pages with back links to your web page will click on your back links and visit your site if the keyword text in your back link is relevant to what they are searching for. The text label on a back link is often commonly called ‘Anchor Text’ and is used by search engines in the algorithms that determine back link value. Whilst all back links are of value some are more valuable than others.

The search engines give authority to web pages which can be passed on to your web pages through the back links.Web pages with more authority pass more authority onto your pages .

GENERATING TRAFFIC THROUGH BACKLINKS

A good website by itself does not automatically produce traffic.

You have to be found. And you might do that by either paying for traffic utilizing Pay Per Click campaigns or you can create traffic by being well rated in the top search results. The Least expensive option is free organic traffic.

And generating a high ranking in the search engines needs 2 things: Great Content + Lots of Back Links

IT TRULY IS A POPULARITY CONTEST

The performer who has the most votes on American Idol has an immediate singing career. And finding your way to the top of the search engines is precisely the same thing. The public has to vote for you. And they can do that by setting up backlinks. Every person who visits your site and makes a reference to it on their web site creates a backlink. And each backlink is a kind of validation.

It is reckoned that 70% of the measures used by Google to determine what web sites rise to the top of their listings is the quantity and quality of the back links. And that makes sense. If hundreds or thousands of websites consider you deserve an acknowledgment, then you must be doing something right. That’s why Google depends on the voting populace and rewards you by promoting your website to the top of the search results.

Bottom line: to get to the top of the search engines, your site has to be validated by others. That said, without back links, you will not likely be seen.

LINK BUILDING CAMPAIGN

A campaign ought to be systematic and prolonged. It is better to create 1,000 backlinks over 3 months than 3 days. Why? Because a great influx of backlinks won’t look natural for an average web site. You won’t be penalized for having too many back links. In fact, MORE is better than LESS, but if Goggle decides the popularity isn’t natural, the backlinks may carry less authority.

There are a few ways to create back links. Some focus on quantity. Others focus on quality. At seo-back-links.com they have a resource entitled: 101 Back Link Ideas that offers an large list of suggestions on how to create back links. The unfortunate part is that most are quite redundant and time consuming.

If you are looking to make your task a lot easier. Visit seo-back-links.com where they have a variety of campaigns that are designed to get you quantity & quality backlinks without the time consuming hassle.

Article writing is proven to be one of the most remarkable answers to how to get rich online and is deemed to serve as an easy way to earn the big bucks. Online writers may find this way to be undemanding and uncomplicated since working from home puts everything under your control. What writers need to know is the subject matter readers enjoy the most, and we have just the topic of course.

Article writers need to preoccupy themselves first with selecting the most suitable subject matter which captures the interest of most readers. Aside from researching the particulars of the chosen topic of interest, writers should be informed that these kinds of articles will unquestionably not be left unnoticed by the readers. Here is the listing:

The List article: Belonging on the top spot of must-read is the list article. To a great extent, modern day readers are intrigued with this kind of short hand writing. To begin with choose an out of the ordinary or new subject and then list some facts or other points in bullets. Include say a minimum of 200 words under each point and combine it with a brief and catchy foreword. Finish the article with an impressive conclusion and away we go!

If I stood in the readers’ shoes, I would take note of these examples:

* 5 ways to get rich online by next month

* 6 ways to make money on the Internet

* 7 ways to get wealthy online by selling your own product using web marketing

The How To article: A How To article is expected to be something which is informative or in some manner educational to your readers. This kind of writing is suited in cases when you want your readers to comprehend and understand the concepts available on the Internet.

Here are some examples of interesting How-To articles:

* How to get rich online with little work

* How to make money on the Internet for free

* How to get rich quickly online while being honest

The Review Article: Consumers on the verge of purchasing a product love to have a look at the reviews of their desired products or services. They do not simply rush to their nearest shop and purchase the goods or take on the services they think they needed. People nowadays are smart buyers. They frequently opt to listen to the personal experiences of consumers so they may compare which they think is the best deal to go for. The principal aim of my business for instance, Freshly Baked Wealth is to publish such reviews in an attempt to assist individuals and companies who are new to Internet Marketing.

These are the elements that we expect to see in a review article:

* What are excellent features of the product?

* Does the product produce the results you expect?

* What is the overall rating of the product?

The Round Up Article: Also, like the list article, this one is rather easy to write. I find myself writing this article when I don’t want to mention specifics, for instance if it’s a complex or very large subject. It also works well if you want to teach a general concept rather than a How-To guide.

Below is an example: To write online article is considered one of the modern day jobs any skilled person may do to earn great money online. To sum it up, this kind of article allows the readers to get a grip on the general thought of the subject. It is also a great way to indicate to your audience that you have a unique understanding of how to get rich online in a respectable time frame.

Pay-Per-Click advertising is an advertising model based on the internet. It’s used to promote products by way of attaching them into websites in which people would click on them. If you want to know some tips on how to create good advertising through PPC, then read on.

Most people are just a little too excited when it comes to advertising competitions. Granted, you’ll always want to be number one. But sometimes it really isn’t worth it when you’re paying a lot more than you’re earning just to be on top. So unless you want to pay more, be contented with the number 2 spot. Also, you need to stick with your budget. Don’t get too worked up by bidding higher than you can afford. Just focus on your strategy of keywords and you’ll do fine in Pay-Per-Click advertising.

Always remember to check the statistics of your website so you can gauge and calculate everything. Compute your conversion rate in order for you to determine how many hits and clicks it takes on average just to sell a product. Also, calculate your profit to match the products you’re advertising. If you’re not confident that it’s going to be enough, then rethink your strategy.

The way PPC advertising works is that you bid on how much you are willing to pay to be listed for a particular word or phrase. The highest bidder gets the highest and most important ad position. However, it is not always in your best interest to do this because you can easily blow through your cash. Instead, achieving a moderately high position in other areas, or a top spot for a less popular word or phrase is much more desirable, particularly as you’re learning the ropes.

Put yourself in the shoes of your customers and stop trying to sell. Rather, think about what they want and provide it. If a customer wants cute Christmas tee shirts, then don’t provide them with Holiday Costumes or other irrelevant products. Target your keywords and yet your customers do something on your site such as having them subscribe to your newsletter, fill out forms, or buy your products. It’s survival of the smartest, so you’ll only waste money if you don’t understand this.

Most Pay-Per-Click advertising networks offer related phrases surrounding your keywords, so it’s best to make use of them. There’s also WordTracker, which helps you to expand your keywords and other possibilities. Also, if you’re able to use negative keywords, do so. Google AdWords includes an option for you to specify which ones should not be used in your particular campaign.

Looking at the downside, there is always the potential for your competitors to click on your ads just so you have to pay. The more money that comes out of your pocket, the better for them, right? Also, PPC pricing structures can turn out to be costly long-term, so it is generally only a short-term solution.
