Try going to any of the major book stores and see what section of the store they would put the book in? Can you do some sort of a book signing, and see what kind of people you draw in? Talk to an English Professor and see how they would rate the book. Send copies to some of the major newspapers, and let them read it and see how they would rate it. Talk to an agent?
