I’m just curious since I just read a book about a girl who is 20 who went from being a waitress in a bar in LA to becoming a famous actress and in one part of the book the girl’s agent and publicist kept trying to get her to dump her long term boyfriend for this guy who was also an actor because it would be good for both of their careers. I was wondering if that kind of thing went on for real .

Yes, it actually does happen a lot in Hollywood.
