Do you think McCain is starting to regret the “Joe the Plumber” thing?
OK, so first the big deal was that the guy wasn’t really a licensed plumber, wasn’t really planning on buying a business, was in a tax bracket which would actually save money on the Obama plan, AND he owed back taxes.
All of this was not really a big deal. But now, this guy is showing up at rallies, answering policy questions as if he was a surrogate (so badly that even FOX is calling him out), has hired a publicist, is trying to get a book deal, and has entered into a partnership with Aaron Tippen to cut a country album.
I understand what McCain was trying to do…he was trying to find a guy that would be a living example of the “every guy” the candidates had been discussing throughout the campaign…but do you think that Joe is starting to become a thorn in McCain’s side?
"joe in Texas": are you looking at the same numbers as everybody else? In most polls, Obama's lead over McCain has increased since the last debate (when McCain first started talking about Joe).
Joe the Plumber was a plant from the start. But he’s the plant that’s grown out-of-control. Like all other bad decisions by the McPalin camp, vetting seems to be something they need to learn how to do properly.

McCain has no issues that are not the same as Bush's. He voted with him 90.6% of the time during his presidency, 95% of the time in 2007 and 100% of the time in 2008!

As much as you want to demonize Joe the Plumber, he’s helped by getting Obama to admit what he really is. McCain also made an ad about Israel after Joe said if Obama were put in office, it would be the end of Israel. So I think it’s just the libs that want to attack Joe. He’s doing fine.

Joe asked Obama a legitimate question. Obama approached Joe. Just because Obama couldn't come up with a lie fast enough, he made a national spectacle out of him!
Obama is a man-child & he does not take criticism lightly. He will make a public spectacle of you if you disagree with him. The media loves Obama so he hasn't had to answer any real questions.

Desperation is a HORRIBLE platform to use in an election.
First it was Palin, then having to stick up for her.
Joe was supposed to be the GOP “gotcha” thing, even though the press never played gotcha, as accused.
If you look rationally at Joe and reality.. he bit McCain in the butt. Instead of DEALING with it.. they pour it on, keep going and make it worse.
McCain’s lack of skill with the internet is a huge factor that he does not grasp at all. ANYONE can find in depth info online, it does not take a scientist. I found TONS on Joe that I won’t post.. and strictly using google.
But, yeah.. Joe is an arrogant and self serving jerk. Not a good play for anything, especially when ALREADY sinking big time.
