This video documents the launch event for ‘Imagine’, a book of childens portraits. Imagine features individual portraits of 153 children from the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. This project, which documents a generation of children, gives us a glimpse into their lives while giving back to the community. All of the session fees were donated to Matthew’s House, a respite home for children with severe disabilities.

also’s Amazing Book Race is a fun-packed day where teams of 4-5 people race around to Ottawa’s downtown literacy checkpoints. At each location, the teams are given literacy-based tasks such as reading a story to a group of people or completing a word search. Once a team has visited all the checkpoints, they return to the starting point to claim their prize and rest with some much-deserved refreshments. There will be a celebrity speaker and fabulous entertainment as well. It is a great day out with family, friends, colleagues, and neighbours come and enjoy!
